Yumm Pizza

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see pizza? Is it your favorite local or national chain pizza sitting on the counter when you get home from work or school? Maybe you're so hungry and tired after a sporting event, your parents or loved ones buy you your favorite pizza. Or just maybe you have a strong family recipe on making homemade pizza including the dough and all toppings.

To answer my own question there is no better pizza than making it from scratch with a loved one and family. The family time that this can bring being together laughing having a fantastic time mixing art and science together because a lot of people don't understand that cooking is truly an art and science. The feel of the flour between your fingers and kneading the dough to the perfect consistency, than baking that dough you worked so hard on the the perfect combination of a crunchy outside and a soft doughy inside of the crust knowing that you made this perfect creation from scratch.

What is your favorite toppings on a pizza? I love this question because really there is no wrong answer. Although the argument is if pineapple belongs on pizza most pizza shops will put it on there if asked. When you make pizza at home there is no wrong answer to this question. Are you a staple person and like sauce and pepperoni, plain cheese, all meat, veggie pizza, meat and veggies, or one of my favorites the supreme pizza with basically anything you can find to put on top of the dough. There can be millions of combinations for pizza toppings what's your favorite?

To sum it up wherever you are in the world pizza is a favorite to a lot of people and no matter what, there is no wrong way to top and eat your pizza. With a fork and knife on a plate or with your hands. I hope looking at the pictures above has inspired everyone to try and make their own pizza. It is a trial and error at first, but once you master the dough the rest comes natural. And hey it can help you save a little money to!
