My Mindfulness Journey

Mindfulness has been set in my path at an early age and has been present with me ever since. The story of why mindfulness is important to me is a grim one but has led to me be a strong person.
I lost a good friend to suicide at a young age. She was young and looked like she had it all. Sadly she hid what was going on inside, so many young people do. Her death affected me and so many others. Causing all of us to learn how to deal with our mindfulness in our teenaged years. Which is very hard especially when teenagers already have so many emotions to deal with already.
A few more years passed and someone I didn't talk to at the time but at one point in my life was very important to me also took his life. Questions and emotions consumed me again. It led me again to a path of mindfulness healing.
It has made me grow up faster and mature at a younger age. I believe now it guides me in ways to try and help people be mindful too. It is so important in todays world. Mindfulness is something that has been overlooked and now it's important to bring it to light.
That's why I love meditation, Reiki, and yoga. I've learned to use them all for mindfulness. I've been a yoga instructor for over 5 years and a reiki master for a few years now. All of my sessions focus on your mindfulness and the way you are feeling in mind, body, and soul. My practices have gotten me interested in other healings like sound healing and different ceremonies. I like to combine them to reach the best inner healing.
