Garden Magic

The garden is a wonderful place to wander in the morning.

The garden is magical in the morning. I like to take my coffee and wonder in the morning see what has grown and what need tending to. The we water before the sun starts to hit the plants.

I am not a morning person everyone else in my house is except for me. But the garden and definitely coffee helps my mood a lot more. It really is the best time to see how the garden is doing because it is not too hot and you can see the progress of the day prior. Today I took pictures so you can come a long with me and see how June is treating the garden right now.

Our main garden has a lot of growth and we are starting to see some little tomatoes. We have been focusing on them growing most of spring and now it's time to let them do their thing in producing. I'm super excited to see how they do in producing tomatoes.

Our Green bean are growing and I think we are ready for our first harvest. The great thing about beans is that they will produce a lot of the summer and so you can just keep on picking and they will grow more and more. We tie them up as they grow so they are not laying on the ground.

My nephew enjoys his strawberry patch. Our planters are doing great and are growing strawberries that he can snack away on. There's nothing better than picking and eating your own strawberry. It's scientifically proven by my nephew (he's 4) that it just tastes better. If you have littles I highly recommend a little strawberry patch for them. He has been having fun with it all spring and now summer!

Our eggplant and cucumbers in planters are growing fuller and fuller. We are waiting on them to start flowering and producing but right now you can tell they are very happy!

We have little cherry tomatoes starting and we cannot wait to pick them and pop them right into our salads or even just snack on them with some salt. It's showing promise that they will do very well this season we are excited.

Our garlic has grown and grown. We also added some chocolate mint and some lavender and it is taking so well!

Lastly our viney garden has already produced so many zucchini it is amazing and we are getting cucumbers too. This garden always does well and this year it hasn't disappointed yet. I'm so excited for all the freshness that I see coming up right now!

Our lettuce is growing and our flowers are beautiful! It was such a great walk in the garden this morning and I really cannot wait to see what tomorrow morning brings.
