A fusion you're going to love
Hey foodies!
I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen again, and I’ve come up with something amazing—Asian Dumpling Smash Tacos. Imagine all the deliciousness of pork dumplings without all the tedious folding and steaming. These tacos are quick, easy, and insanely good!

Theses are super easy and oh so good! The first time I made them we all just was amazed at how good they actually were.

Gather your ingredients your going to want to add key ingredients of garlic, onion, and ginger. But you can explore with other herbs, garlic tops, and chives.

Really you can add anything you put into your pork dumpling filling. I add an egg, brown sugar, sesame seeds, other seasoning, garlic, onion, herbs, ginger, and soy sauce. But what ever you like in your pork dumpling filling will be good and yummy, its really whatever you are feeling.

Mix that all up and you will be ready to go! I like to do ours on our big griddle but if you have a little griddle or even just a frying pan will work. get your flour tortillas or even corn will work too. Again its preference so explore and use what you would like.

Next you're going to put your meat mixture and spread it very thin on the tortilla and put it on the griddle and get cooking.

you're going to let the meant get nice and crispy for a few minutes, they're going to cook fast since it is thing so make sure you are watching it. It isn't something you can put on and turn your back towards.

when you do flip them you'll fold them in half then. I like to griddle bot halves so they get nice and crispy. All the juices soak together and its just so mouth water.

You will get your own groove and this will be one of your favorites to make, trust me!

Why Smash Tacos?
Traditional dumplings are great, but they can be a lot of work. I wanted to capture that same savory, juicy flavor in a more accessible form. Enter: the griddle. By smashing the dumpling filling flat and cooking it on a hot griddle, you get a crispy, flavorful patty that is right into the tortilla baking it have that dumpling dough around it. It's a fusion of my love for dumplings and the convenience of tacos.

Why You’ll Love Them
These tacos are bursting with flavor. The pork is juicy and savory, with the perfect amount of crispiness from the griddle. You can add fresh cabbage and carrots, the fresh veggies add a satisfying crunch, and the taco shell holds everything together beautifully. Plus, they’re super easy to make. No need to spend hours folding dumplings—just smash, cook, and enjoy!

Final Thoughts
If you love dumplings but don’t love the time it takes to make them, these Asian Dumpling Smash Tacos are a game-changer. They’re fun to make, even more fun to eat, and a fantastic way to mix up your taco night.
